Receptionist – Brickell Headquarters – The position of Receptionist is responsible for performing customer reception activities and various clerical duties; performs switchboard operations; answers questions or inquiries of a general nature; determines appropriate direction for business inquiries; issues messages; and performs routine operational duties such as receiving and distributing mail and correspondence, photocopying materials, maintaining files and other duties as directed.

Teller – Brickell Headquarters – The Teller position is responsible for providing clients with exceptional service by efficiently processing monetary transactions and establishing a positive client relationship. Furthermore the position is highly involved in supporting the branch operationally by complying with Bank policies and procedures as well as regulatory procedures. Candidates should be able to:

• Process account transactions including, but not limited to, DDA deposits, cashing checks, accepting savings deposits and withdrawals and accepting loan payments
• Demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and develop a customer first culture.
• Enhance client relationships by referring needs to bank personnel who could present additional products and services.
• Resolve account service issues and respond to customer inquiries promptly and effectively within authority.

Team Leader – Credit Department – The position of Team Leader is responsible for supervising the credit analysis performed by a team of Credit Analysts and for gathering and analyzing credit information on existing and potential borrowers, correspondent banks, and vendors; determines the feasibility of granting credit for diversified types of loans; assists loan officers in writing loan requests. Reviews credit analysis prepared by team members and makes recommendations on loan structure and covenants so as not to expose the bank to undue credit risk.

  • Monitors and coaches staff in daily tasks, operations and quality control. Assigns credit analysis to the team members and coordinates available resources to achieve maximum results.
  • Assists loan officers in performing pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
  • Assists loan officers in gathering data from customers, internal and outside sources; prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns; contacts customers for additional information and clarification of data.
  • Compiles data from credit bureaus, conducts industry peer comparisons, and performs cash flow analyses and other such tasks and comparisons.
  • Writes financial reviews and reports; makes recommendation on loan structures and terms to loan officers.
  • Assist loan officers in the review and renewal of credit facilities; provides back-up support.
  • Checks pledged assets as requested by loan officers.
  • Develops knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors and competition.
  • Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
  • Assists in providing deposit and loan account ratings for loan officers.
  • Writes financial reviews for remote capture customers and time deposit loans.
  • Analyzes credit worthiness of Banks service providers (vendors).
  • Assists in the analysis of companies in which the Bank is considering investing.
  • Attends weekly credit committee meeting to assist in the presentation of credits.
  • Creates and maintains Bank’s tickler system for loans.
  • Serves as back up for the Chief Credit Officer in the preparation of weekly credit committee minutes and agenda.
  • Assists the Chief Credit Officer in the training of credit analysts.
  • Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports the Bank’s goals and values; benefits the bank through outside activities.
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of laws and regulations related to their position by reading various publications and circulars; attends seminars and meetings with peers.
  • Assists the Chief Credit Officer with any other credit or administration duties as needed.

Requirements Team Leader Position

• Bachelors (BA) or equivalent from a college or technical school; and/or 7 or more years related experience and/or training.

• Previous supervisory experience.

• Intermediate experience, knowledge and training in financial statement and tax return analysis typically resulting from a combination of education in accounting, financial and/or credit analysis or related areas.

• Basic knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate and consumer loan underwriting.

• Basic knowledge of related state and federal laws and loans regulations, InterAgency Guidelines, and other Bank lending policies.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and members of the general public.

• Intermediate math skills.

• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.

Requirements for Teller – Brickell Headquarters

• AA Degree in Business or other related field (may be in progress) or equivalent work experience.
• 3-4 years of Bank Teller and customer service experience. Community Bank experience is preferred.
• Experience in the areas of teller, vault, preparation of credit approval requests, safe deposit, processing DDA lines of credit, accepting credit applications
• Positive and energetic attitude. Willingness to learn and develop. Team player.
• Bilingual (fluently speak and write Spanish & English)
• Careful attention to detail and a team player mentality.
• Broad knowledge of financial services products and services
• Strong interpersonal, communications, sales, organizational and persuasion skills
